Liz Aggiss is developing a new solo called Crone Alone: a layered, unapologetic feminist solo that dissects the historical medical precedents, associated with female hysteria. The research and development which began in January, will continue through 2019 until April 2020.
The pitch for Crone Alone: articulates the content and context that drives the work; shares aspects of the research and working copy; demonstrates a short extract of work in progress; fields a brief Q&A. This pitch is looking for future platforms for this work.
Crone Alone is funded by Arts Council of England with support from: Dance4, South East Dance, Yorkshire Dance, Sadler’s Wells, EHU, University of Chichester and is produced by Feral Arts.
